Verse: Man went down gonna build him a coffin, find him one old big oak tree. Man had lost his home and his crop lands, suit came up and said pay them fees. So man went huntin', draggin' that coffin, trackin' the suit to the big city. Concrete scars are the trails of the sheep man, Concrete hives high as he could see. Ain’t nobody left no woman or man, just spineless opinions melting to a screen. Chorus (x2): You don’t go tellin' me nothing, no don’t go tellin' me nothin' You don’t go tellin' me nothing’s wrong around here. Verse: Man went howling, banging on his coffin, calling the suit screaming come fight me. Then outta the alley came a creature forgotten, caring and strong beautiful when free. There stood woman livin' in hidin', shunned by the suits and the worker bees. Woman went running gotta stop that banging, man saw her and fell to his knees. Woman said quiet, lets leave take me with you, cause if you don’t they’ll kill you and me. Chorus (x2) Verse: Man went silent kneelin' in his coffin, woman his angel brought him to his feet. Lights went crashin' and then the guns came a runnin', man said woman won’t you come with me? Woman and man went runnin' to the hills, to find a place where home could be. The concrete culture kept its dead beat thumping, the spineless opinions didn’t notice a thing. That old oak coffin waiting on their doorstep, to comfort the death of the concrete breed. Fin.

Verse: 'Round here the wind cries Jimi, Coming through the trees oh can't you hear it? can't you hear it? 'Round here the rain feels like Kurt, All that angsty teen spirit soaking in your shirt. Don't be alarmed if the sun don't come, don't come. The rain'll have you clean before it's done. Chorus: I don't know if it's the way that we ride and I don't know if it's the way that we vibe and I don't know if it's the way we live life but baby I can tell you it's that Northwest high. and ahh yeah yes I'll be alright Long as I got some green in my pipe and Oh girl you lookin' outta sight so Won't you tell me baby what we doing tonight? an. Verse: 'Round here all the good times are killing me. Like the curious cat choking on a modest feast. Have you ever sat and heard the thumpin' and bumpin' of the streets? You can see how Mix and Mack found their beats. Have you ever seen a sea of trees forever green? Flowing over the mountains and into the city? Chorus Verse: 'Round here all the bells ring Bing (bing, bing, bing, bing) Calling out all the melodies of our dreams. When it comes to singing the Vedder the better. We tend to our music like a garden of sounds. (Synth Solo) Chorus (x2) Fin.

Circles 03:51
Verse: Our kind's been beating the same drum and marching it for so long. Ain't got no time to find, no peace of mind. Only see the triumphs of the great ones, long after they are gone. Death is the glass we use, the past we look upon. I bet we can do something better. (x2) CHORUS: All we've got is time, ya. (x4) VERSE: We built a digital rhythm, but we're marching the same old song. Finger tips on everything but we still can't find what's wrong. We apes are just hitting puberty, our voices cracking on the same old song. Our thoughts collaborate and the darkness seeps from our minds. I bet we can do something better. (x2) CHORUS: All We've got is time, ya. (X8) Fin.

As I Am 04:17
Life is flowing from my cigarette. Glass and splinters in my shoes. I'm staring at the creature in the mirror. My darkest parts are all for you. My mind is warped and I'm not too bright. I've lost some hair, my money's always tight. My reaper's pocket watch is ticking, but all I've got I'll share with you. Love, love. Love, love, oh. (x2) Chorus: (x2) Will you take me as I am? I promise I'll do everything I can. (Guitar Solo) Chorus (x2) Will you? (x2) Fin.

Take Me Down 04:34
Verse: We’ve been out here for centuries. forced to wander the barren in-betweens. Every morning we try to get outta here. You with your steel and me with mine. Chorus: So take me down easy, and let me go easy, take me down so slow. Take me down easy, let me go easy, take me down so low. Verse: Waves of sand have worn out my memories. lost too many pieces of the puzzle to fix me. But That’s the price of the ticket to get out of here; me taking your skull or you taking mine. Chorus: So take me down easy, and let me go easy, take me down so slow. Take me down easy, let me go easy, take me down so low. Take me down Lord, take me down lord, take me down so slow. Take me down lord, take me down lord, take me down so low. Verse: The dunes and my steel are painted in your blood. the flats and your steel are painted in mine. Rain Residents Seattle, Washington

Rain Residents:

We are artist/musicians from Northwest Washington.

There is so much about the place we all call home that is intangible, but crucial to feel of our home.

We have a plethora of influences and ideas that are aided by the perspective we gain just by living here.

We hope you enjoy our particular flavor, and evolution through the years to come.
